Installation
Community Nodes
Follow the installation guide in the n8n community nodes documentation:
- Go to
Settings>Community Nodes. - Select
Install. - Enter
n8n-nodes-thecompaniesapiinEnter npm package name. - Agree to the risks of using community nodes.

Credentials
To use The Companies API node, you will need to authenticate with your API token.
- Sign up for or sign in to The Companies API.
- Get your API token from your settings page.
- Create new credentials in n8n:
- Add and use The Companies API node in your workflow.
- Under "Credential to connect with", click "Create New Credential".
- Paste your API token in the "API Token" field.
Test the credentials to make sure they work correctly.
