n8n-nodes-google-cloud-billing


This is an n8n community node that allows you to interact with the Google Cloud Billing API.

Manage Google Cloud billing accounts, associate or disassociate billing on GCP projects, and query the catalog for public services and SKUs to monitor and automate cloud cost management in your n8n workflows.

n8n is a fair-code licensed workflow automation platform.

Installation

Community Nodes (Recommended)

1. In your n8n instance, navigate to Settings > Community Nodes.
2. Click Install.
3. Enter @piayg/n8n-nodes-google-cloud-billing in the npm package name field.
4. Agree to the risks of community nodes and click Install.

Manual Installation (Self-hosted / Docker)

Inside your n8n root or custom nodes directory:

npm install @piayg/n8n-nodes-google-cloud-billing

Authentication

The node supports two authentication methods:

1. Service Account (Recommended for Automation)
– Authenticates using a Google Cloud Service Account private key JSON.
– Supports Paste JSON Key (pasting the key directly in n8n) or File Path on Disk (reading from the server filesystem).
– Ideal for headless instances and background scheduled workflows.
2. OAuth2
– Connects using a Google user account via OAuth2 client consent screen.

Operations

Billing Account

• Get: Retrieve information about a specific billing account.
• Get Many: List all billing accounts accessible to the credential.
• Update: Update a billing account’s display name.

Project

• Get Billing Info: Check billing status and linked billing account for a project.
• Get Many: List all GCP projects associated with a billing account.
• Update Billing Info: Link or unlink a project with a billing account.

Catalog

• Get Many Services: List all publicly available Google Cloud services.
• Get Many SKUs: List all SKUs and pricing metadata for a given cloud service.
